For recruiters

Reaching hiring managers, not candidates — one message at a time.

Recruitment outreach is judged more harshly than any other kind, because everyone receiving it has already seen a hundred bad versions. The bar for a first line that is genuinely about the recipient's company is low, and almost nobody clears it.

Where it breaks down

Every inbox is saturated

Hiring managers filter recruiter mail on reflex. Generic gets nothing.

The signal is time-sensitive

A relevant message needs to reference what the company is doing now, not last year.

Volume and tone pull apart

The only way to sound human at volume is for something to write per person.

A run, for you specifically

  1. 01

Describe the roles and industries you place.

  2. 02

Approve the company segments — sector, size and market.

  3. 03

Read the drafts; each one references the company, not just the title.

  4. 04

Handle replies in one inbox with suppression respected instantly.

What you look at day to day: Which segments answer, and who to follow up with today.

Saturated inboxes filter on reflex

Hiring managers and founders delete recruiter mail without reading it, and they are right to: the pattern is recognisable within four words. Anything generic is not competing, it is being filtered.

The only reliable way through is specificity that could not have been mass-produced — a sentence about what that company is doing, not about how many candidates you have on your books.

Specific at volume needs something to write per person

You can write ten genuinely researched notes a day by hand. You cannot write eighty, and a template that pretends to be researched is worse than an honest short one.

The agent reads each company before drafting, so the opening references their business and the ask stays to one question in under seventy-five words. Reviewing forty short specific notes takes minutes; writing them does not.

Respecting the no, immediately

In this market a mishandled opt-out is a reputational problem, not an administrative one. Unsubscribes are suppressed instantly and permanently across every campaign, and every message carries the opt-out link.

Sending is capped at twenty-five per mailbox per day on a human cadence, which also keeps the tone plausible: nobody believes a person sent four hundred notes before lunch.

Why recruiters pick this

  • You are reaching hiring managers and founders, not candidates.
  • Your market is saturated and generic messages get nothing.
  • You place in specific roles and sectors rather than everything.
  • You need opt-outs handled properly and permanently.

Questions

Can I use this to contact candidates?
No. Nordvind is built for business-to-business outreach to named roles at companies — hiring managers, founders, heads of department. Candidate sourcing is a different discipline and a different compliance picture.
How much does it cost to start?
Looking is free and needs no card: type your web address and watch a full run on your own domain. Sending starts at $49 a month, which is one pre-warmed mailbox and a hard cap of twenty-five emails a day.
Why only twenty-five emails a day?
Because that is what a mailbox can send cold without hurting its own reputation. The cap is enforced in the backend rather than offered as a setting. More capacity means more mailboxes, and provisioning a new one takes about twenty-four hours because the account is real.
Do I have to write anything?
No. The agent reads your site, works out who buys from you, finds named people at named companies, verifies the addresses and writes one email per person. Your job is to read what it proposes and correct what you disagree with.
Is cold outreach like this compliant?
Every message carries an opt-out link, unsubscribes are suppressed immediately and permanently across every campaign, and we write business-to-business to named roles. We do not send to consumers.
