A sending platform assumes the hard part is already done

The workflow inside a sending tool starts with a list and a sequence. Both are inputs, and both are the expensive part. Uploading a CSV takes a minute; deciding which two hundred companies belong in that CSV, and why, is the work that actually moves reply rates.

That is not a flaw in the category. It is a boundary. The tool is very good at rotation, warm-up and placement, and it is honest about not being a research product. The question for a buyer is who fills the gap in front of it — and in most small teams the answer is a founder, on a Sunday.

Sequences versus one email per person

A sequence is one piece of writing applied to many people, with variables to soften the seams. It scales because the writing is reused. The cost of that reuse is that the first line can only ever be true in general: a company name, a job title, a city.

Nordvind writes after reading. The agent looks at the prospect's own company before drafting, so the opening sentence is about their business rather than a merge field. Each draft is under seventy-five words, asks one question, and can be edited individually or steered for all of them at once by changing the brief behind them.

The trade is real: you lose multi-step A/B infrastructure and gain not having to author anything. If you have a copywriter who wants to test six variants of step two, a sequencing tool is the better instrument.

Where the daily work ends up

With a sending platform the recurring job is maintenance: refresh the list before it decays, rewrite the sequence when replies fade, watch deliverability across accounts, and decide which segment deserves more volume.

Questions

Can I bring my own list to Nordvind?
Contact discovery is part of the product rather than an import step, so the normal path is that we find and verify the people. Suppression lists are the exception and we take those gladly.
Do I need my own domains or mailboxes?
You get your own sending domain and three named senders on every plan, already warmed up before you arrive, which is why a campaign can start the same day instead of after a warm-up period. There is no DNS to configure yourself and no inbox to connect.
How many emails go out per day?
20 emails a day on Start, 60 on Grow, 240 on Pro — a hard cap enforced in the backend, per plan, rather than a setting you can raise. A single sender never carries more than 20 a day. Cold volume above that is what gets domains flagged, so the limit is deliberate.
Can I see it before paying?

Every message is a plain email from a named person; replies are read within minutes, and anyone who asks us to stop is suppressed immediately and permanently across all campaigns, and we send business-to-business to named roles rather than scraping personal inboxes. We do not send to consumers.

When Instantly is the better choice
